In search of new online talent, Adobe Italy organized a competition inviting graphic designers, video makers, photographers, web designers and developers to create a project with Adobe technologies. To participate in the Adobe YouGC Contest, competitors had to submit their work within nine weeks, after choosing one of six categories: tutorials, desktop applications, demos, white papers, flash websites or inspirational mood.
As we at Sweet Lemon are keen on some cooking ourselves (yes, we have our own famous pear and marzipan triangles, blueberry muffins and the occasional homemade hamburger), we couldn’t help but fall for the charms of this sweet entry by Lait Noir. She just finished a digital and virtual design course at the European Institute of Design (IED) in Turin and studied web design, photogaphy and video.
Using nothing but cardboard and some kitchen utensils, she simulated a tutorial which shows how to make lovely butter cookies with the new Adobe Photoshop Cook. Now if cooking in real live would be as easy as copy-paste, you wouldn’t recognize us after a couple of weeks…
